Bio: I am a Building Engineer that 5 yrs ago was diagnosed with IgM MGUS. Was told that it probably wouldn't change from that. Then a 3 1/2 years later, it progressed to a rare blood cancer that has a with an incidence rate of about 3 cases per million people per year in the United States.
Cancer Type: Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
Medical Term for the Type of Cancer: Waldenstrom's Macroglobulemia
Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Symptoms: Heavy Night Sweats; constant Fatigue; Peripheral Neuropathy i.e. shocks on hands and feet, Burning scalp, Extreme sudden headaches
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Had 6 months of Rituxan treatment-It only maintained the IgM numbers, now going thru rounds of Rituxan and Bendamustine

Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Symptoms: Left ear pain and throat tightness x 1 month. Didn’t get better with 2 rounds of antibiotics. Also incessant reflux symptoms without the burning.
